Under the leadership of Marco Carniello, the Director of the fair, the IEG (Italian Exhibition Group) and Italian institutions, this fair has earned its prestige and has now become THE leading jewellery fair in Europe. It is hoped that the French government will support French jewellery in a similar manner!
From Italian and international fine jewellery brands to machining, gemstones, diamonds, and visual merchandising – professionals are bound to find what they are looking for!
Indeed, the fair prioritizes the experience of buyers from all around the world by hosting them and offering dedicated services to enhance their visit, such as conferences and seminars, thus optimising business opportunities.
This is certainly why the Francéclat committee has finally decided to bring in ten emerging French jewellery brands!
But let's return to the history of the fair, which has always been supported by the Italian government to promote its expertise and brands.
The fair was established in 1954 under the initial name of the Vicenza Goldsmith Exhibition and was later renamed Vicenzaoro in the 1980s, becoming one of the three leading B2B jewellery fairs in the world today.
The event is held in Vicenza, Italy, a city two hours from Venice with a significant heritage in the jewellery industry.
This charming, typical Italian town is home to many historic goldsmiths' workshops, a fabulous jewellery museum not to be missed, and a famous “golden” street running through the centre.
The city's wealth of expertise has contributed to the global credibility of Vicenzaoro. The city will also be adorned with special displays in the city centre, bringing to life these 70 years of the fair for visitors.
The fair has evolved over the years and has become a reference for the global jewellery community. It is the perfect place to discover new trends, including Paola de Luca's annual
The fair’s long history and continued relevance demonstrate its lasting impact and strategic leadership in the global jewellery market. The fair constantly innovates, making it a must-attend event. .

We welcome the new boom in the promotion of emerging French brands by Francéclat, propelled by its new Director of the Emergence program, Priscilla Jokhoo.
For the past year, she has been working to shake up the somewhat ageing base of this old institution and has even developed a mentoring and support system for 10 young jewellery brands, which should be set up before Spring. It was about time!
Young emerging French brands, the cradle of French creativity, have been needing this support for over 10 years, and we are delighted to finally find a French Corner at Vicenzaoro!
