As you’re shopping for jewelry (especially rings) online you may get stuck when trying to determine your ring size. How do you navigate this maze to avoid buying the wrong size? It would be a shame to have to give your brand-new ring to your mom…

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, it has become difficult, if not impossible, to visit your favorite jewelry store to try on rings under the guidance of an expert… Great news, our team at LIKE A B. is here to make your life a bit easier and make your online shopping experience enjoyable, with just one click and right from your living room!

Here is our 3-part guide to determine your ring size in no time.

1. Use the LIKE A B. ring size chart

Easy to use – all you need to do is print our ring size chart and grab a ring you know fits you (a flat one, ideally). Make sure the document is printed in A4 size and scaled to 100%, otherwise the dimensions will be incorrect! You can check that the chart is true to size using the scale at the bottom. Place your ring on the circles until you find the one whose pink edge matches up the inner circumference of your ring. And you’re done! So tell us, how do you like our ring size chart?

2. Measure the inner diameter of one of your rings

A more technical approach (don’t run away, I promise you’ll be fine) – you can measure the inner diameter of one of your rings using a ruler. Convert this measurement to millimeters and refer to the measurements indicated on our ring size chart. For example, an inner diameter of 1.655 centimeters or 16.55 millimeters is equivalent to a size 52.

If you can’t get your hands on a ring that fits you well, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Just grab a piece of string, a pen and a ruler. Wrap the string around the base of your finger (make sure it’s snug but not too tight) and use the pen to mark where the string meets around your finger. Use the ruler to measure the marked length of string in millimeters. You get the circumference of your finger as well as your ring size. For example, if the circumference of your finger is 54 millimeters, your ring size is 54.
