Engagement ring Profiles

Passionate about jewelry and drawing from an early age, Karine Chedid went through several paths before fulfilling her dream of becoming a jewelry designer. After working in software and luxury cars, she decided to change careers by studying gemology. After graduating in 2016 she founded her own brand, Karine Chedid Joaillerie and fulfilled her dream!

Karine’s creations reflect her own personality: chic, timeless, sophisticated and Parisian. Drawing inspiration from Art Nouveau, Victorian jewelry and Edwardian jewelry, she adorns her pieces with atypical and original stones such as color change sapphires, colored diamonds or salt-and-pepper diamonds, thus giving them a unique personality.

Karine Chedid, an established gemologist

Karine plays with diamonds and their hues like no one else and sprinkles her designs with sapphires, garnets or spinels in delicate colors that perfectly complement the skin.

You’ll love her timeless designs that enhance diamonds and allow you to indulge yourself at affordable prices, with cognac diamonds rather than white diamonds, rhodolite garnet earrings which brighten up the face like blush for a healthy glow.

We love her Saint-Germain earrings with color change sapphires. Yes, you may not know this, but some sapphires change color depending on their exposure to light (natural or artificial)! This fabulous property makes them rare and original sapphires that generally change from red/orange/purple to blue/green tones. Karine puts her expertise as a gemologist to work with her color change sapphire necklaces and her knowledge of vintage jewelry which guides us towards timeless pieces to wear and keep for life.

We would like our man to know her because whatever he can find in her e-shop we will love for sure. We can only be ecstatic! We love her Wagram earrings with subtle diamonds for daily wear or her rose gold Montsouris ring, probably inspired by the park but most importantly adorned with a faceted rose cut sapphire, emphasized by beautiful pavé setting work which gives it a lovely vintage look. An absolute favorite!

Karine Chedid: custom engagement rings

Karine will be the perfect guide in the creation of a fashionable engagement ring with her matching wedding ring. She will guide you with kindness to find the right diamond that fits your budget. All of her engagement rings are made from recycled ethical gold and the diamonds she uses are either new diamonds in compliance with the Kimberley Process (KP) or recycled diamonds she spots in auction rooms with her expert eye. She can also upcycle your family jewels or your polished stones in a workshop in Paris. The other gems are all purchased from RJC-certified (Responsible Jewellery Council) suppliers.

As a true Parisian, Karine has a talent for creating jewelry that is dainty enough to be chic and subtle enough to make us seem like women of taste.

We approve of French production in our beautiful Parisian workshops – made in France, and even made in Paris!

Karine promotes know-how and jewelry craftsmanship. She welcomes her customers in a beautiful boudoir workshop in the heart of Paris. We highly recommend this bighearted designer who’s always smiling, always in a good mood and knows how to spice up the modern Parisian style.

Well done Karine Chedid!
