While Emily in Paris may annoy some seasoned Parisians for its clichéd and romanticised portrayal of the city, and frustrate the residents of Place de l’Estrapade and nearby streets where the show is filmed, the Netflix series, created by Darren Star (Sex and the City), still has a dedicated fan base—boasting 2.6 million followers on Instagram.

Broadcast in 190 countries, Emily in Paris and its female leads serve as a beautiful showcase for renowned Parisian jewellery brands like Dior, Mellerio, or Boucheron, and designers such as Isabelle Langlois, Marie-Hélène de Taillac, or Charlotte Chesnais. But what are the standout jewellery pieces spotted in Season 4?

Fans eagerly tuned in on August 15th to catch the latest adventures of Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins. In Paris to seize a marketing opportunity at Savoir (later Agence Grateau), the Chicago native finds herself caught in a love triangle, torn between Gabriel and Alfie.

To keep the excitement alive, Netflix made a bold choice, releasing only the first five episodes of Season 4 on August 15th. Fans had to be patient, waiting until September 12th for the remaining episodes, which see Emily travelling to Rome.

The show’s global success hasn’t gone unnoticed by jewellery houses. Thanks to product placement, the unique personalities of the female characters – Emily, Camille, Mindy, and Sylvie – offer the perfect opportunity to promote dazzling jewellery collections.

Emily in Paris: French designers in the spotlight

Costume designer Marylin Fitoussi fell for the charms of French jewellery brand Isabelle Langlois. Langlois, the granddaughter and daughter of Jura gemstone cutters, grew up surrounded by precious stones. Fitoussi selected 11 pieces from Langlois’ Ardèche, Étoile de Mer, Flora Pensée, Macaron, Perles, and Pointilliste collections to enhance the outfits of Emily and her friend, played by Ashley Park. These colourful pieces perfectly capture the sensitive yet extravagant nature of Mindy Chen, the daughter of a Chinese billionaire who came to Paris to escape the future her father had carefully mapped out for her.

Equally colourful are the enamelled rings by architect and jewellery designer Marc Deloche, which add a bold touch to Emily’s style during the Roland Garros scene in Episode 1, Break Point.

Known for her sculptural and avant-garde jewellery, Charlotte Chesnais’s is seen on Sylvie Grateau’s wrist in the form of the Round Trip bracelet. Sylvie also sports the green quartz Gem earrings by Marie-Hélène de Taillac. Meanwhile, Camille, played by Camille Razat, is drawn to the organic shapes of Mara Paris jewellery. In Episode 4, during the dessert tasting at Gabriel’s restaurant, Camille layers the Poem necklace and vermeil Flux ring, as well as another gold Flux ring.

Among the most talked-about scenes is Emily’s lunch with Brigitte Macron at the Maison de la Truffe restaurant. While taking a selfie with the First Lady, Emily shows off a solitaire from YV.Delloye’s Pavillon collection. Later, as her style matures into something more understated and Parisian, she completes her look with the Villa Savine ring with yellow gold, tourmaline, and princess-cut diamonds.

Returning from the previous season, the brand Vever – which we don’t particularly like due to their use of synthetic diamonds – is featured in Episode 5. British-American actress Lily Collins, who is also the daughter of Phil Collins, wears Vever’s signature Gingko ring made with recycled silver, mother-of-pearl, and Akoya pearls. The ring features three ginkgo leaves, which unfold like petals to create a new flower. The white mother-of-pearl petals shimmer beautifully, while the centre is adorned with three Akoya pearls.

We also spotted pieces by Persée Paris, known for its floating natural diamonds. Emily wears the Floating ring, where the diamonds appear to float on her hand. She also wears a charming cultured pearl ring from the Aphrodite collection.

Two French designers who treat jewellery like sculpture also caught our eye. Mara Paris dressed Camille with a sculptural silver New Wave ring, while Sylvie was adorned with two beautiful pieces from Okan: a silver Nami ring and a pair of stunning large ear sculptures – although we do wish they were made of gold.

Emily in Paris: our favourite pieces from Nadine Aysoy and Yana Nesper

We’ve already seen the creations of Nadine Aysoy (who we adore) and Yana Nesper in Season 3. In Season 4, the romantic Mindy wears stunning heart-shaped pink sapphire earrings from Nadine Aysoy’s Le Cercle collection, bringing a “la vie en rose” vibe.

Yana Nesper, a German jewellery brand with French, Italian and Japanese influences, also returns. In Episode 5, during a restaurant scene with her friend Mindy, Emily wears striking yellow gold earrings with Akoya pearls and diamonds, paired with a multi-band ring. In the following episode, during Agence Grateau’s Christmas toast, Emily completes her red jacket look with a ring featuring Tahitian and Akoya pearls. Later, in Episode 9, during her romantic trip to Rome with Marcello, she chooses white gold hoops with South Sea pearls, diamonds, and onyx – a true marvel.

Emily in Paris: iconic Pieces from Messika and Dior

A lover of all things Parisian, Emily couldn’t resist the delicate creations of Dior Joaillerie. In Season 4, she wears rings from the Bois de Rose and Rose des Vents collections, alongside yellow gold and mother-of-pearl Rose des Vents earrings.

On the other hand, Emily also falls for bold pieces from Messika, founded by Valérie Messika in 2005. She collects iconic pieces from the Parisian brand, such as the white gold and diamond So Move pendant, the pavé white gold Move 10th ring, and the white gold and diamond Glam’azone double ring.

Emily in Paris: Vendôme jewellers Boucheron and Mellerio

Mellerio, the oldest jewellery house on Place Vendôme, which has been creating exquisite pieces since 1613, also features prominently in the season. On the promotional poster for Season 4, Emily wears the Likoma earrings made of white gold, diamonds, and pearls. Throughout the episodes, she plays with Mellerio’s Cabinet de Curiosités collection, mixing and matching gold links, medals, pearls, and colourful stones.

Meanwhile, at number 26 Place Vendôme, Boucheron plays a key role, as Agence Grateau, where Emily and her colleagues Luc and Julien work, hosts a lunch to celebrate the brand’s iconic Quatre collection. Mentioned as a potential client in Season 3, the brand hosted the cast and crew at its premises in February 2024. Sylvie Grateau (played by Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), ever chic in her Parisian style, remains loyal to the brand by wearing Plume de Paon clip-on earrings in pavé white gold and Quatre Radiant Edition drop earrings.

Emily in Paris: Akillis and Pomellato spotted on the red carpet

At 61, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu’s career was taken to the next level thanks to Netflix. As the journey continues with promotional events, the French actress carefully selects her red carpet looks.

For the Season 4 premiere in Los Angeles, she wore pieces from Pomellato’s Catene collection.

During the Rome premiere on September 10th, she dazzled once again in Pomellato’s high jewellery, wearing the Galleria earrings and ring featuring grey spinels and diamonds, paired with the rose gold and diamond Catene bracelet.

The show’s handsome male stars also shone on the red carpet. At the Rome premiere, French actor and musician Kevin Dias, who plays Mindy’s love interest Benoît, wore a full set from Akillis’ Capture Me collection.

As in previous seasons, costume designer Marylin Fitoussi ensured that every look highlighted the personality of each character. Season 4 continues this tradition, offering a prime showcase for jewellery houses to display their finest creations, capitalising on the show’s global success.
