If the stars could fall from the sky and curl up between our fingers, they would probably have the brilliance of Graff's pink diamonds. These exceptional jewels, so rare that they become almost mythical, capture the light and transform it into a symphony of emotions.

Today, Graff enchants us once again by revealing two extraordinary stones: a 12.02-carat Fancy Vivid Pink and a 4.52-carat Fancy Pink. Two marvels that write a new chapter in the exciting history of the Maison.

Graff and Pink Diamonds: An Eternal Love Story

Before diving into the dazzling beauty of these two creations, it is important to understand why Graff and pink diamonds share such a unique relationship. Behind the name Graff, there is one man: Laurence Graff, a true legend of high jewelry. Driven by a boundless passion for precious stones, he has built an empire around the most exceptional diamonds the Earth has ever offered.

One of the most significant moments in this history was the acquisition of the Graff Pink in 2010 for $46 million from Sotheby's in Geneva. It became the most expensive diamond in the world at the time. This already legendary 24.78-carat Fancy Intense Pink Type IIa diamond (pure diamond without nitrogen and boron) has been repolished by the Maison's master craftsmen to reveal an unrivalled purity and an even more intense hue, reaching a final weight of 23.88 carats. It was a bold bet, but the result? An unparalleled brilliance, a piece of eternity.

Since then, Graff has continued to push the boundaries of excellence, and today, he amazes us again with two new exceptional pink diamonds.

A Breathtaking Sparkle: The 12.02 Carat Fancy Vivid Pink

If perfection had a color, it would undoubtedly be that of this 12.02-carat Fancy Vivid Pink pear-shaped diamond. With its extremely rare chromatic intensity, this stone is a work of art in itself. Its incandescent brilliance is enhanced by a rose gold setting, which embraces its facets like a case of light.

But Graff doesn't stop there. To sublimate this wonder, two heart-shaped white diamonds frame it, like an ode to love and harmony. Every detail of this ring has been thought out to exalt the rarity of the central diamond, giving it that magnetic aura that instantly mesmerizes.

Laurence Graff himself does not hide his admiration:

"This is the sharpest pink rough diamond I've ever seen, and it's an extremely rare treasure."

And when a man who has dedicated his life to diamonds marvels like this, we know that we are in front of something absolutely out of the ordinary.

A Jewel of Delicacy: The Fancy Pink of 4.52 Carats

If the first diamond is a blazing fire, the second is a sweet melody. This exquisitely elegant 4.52-carat Fancy Pink pear-shaped diamond embodies pure femininity. Mounted in platinum and pink gold, it is accompanied by meticulously set white diamonds, for a total weight of 5.17 carats.

Here again, we find Graff's signature : a perfect balance between power and delicacy, between radiance and softness. This piece of jewelry is a declaration of love to pink diamonds, a dazzling proof that beauty is sometimes hidden in the smallest details.

Why are Pink Diamonds so rare?

If these two new creations are so precious, it's because the pink diamonds themselves are an enigma of nature. Unlike yellow diamonds, whose color comes from nitrogen impurities, pink diamonds get their hue from a phenomenon that is still mysterious. Scientists believe that extreme pressures during their formation change the crystal structure of the diamond, giving it its mesmerizing and delicate color.

Only a tiny fraction of the diamonds mined in the world have a natural pink hue, and even fewer of them reach the intensity and purity of Graff stones.

The most famous mines for these treasures are those of the Argyle in Australia, but their closure in 2020 has further increased the rarity of these coveted gems. Each pink diamond that is born is therefore a true exception, a piece of history in itself.

Graff: A House apart in the world of High Jewelry

Since its inception, Graff has established itself as the custodian of the most extraordinary diamonds of our time. Unlike other major houses, which focus on jewelry in general, Graff puts all its energy into the quest for the rarest and most exceptional stones.

Each creation is designed as a unique work, a masterpiece where technical innovation is combined with an incomparable artistic vision. For Graff, it's not just about setting a stone on a piece of jewelry, but about revealing the soul of each diamond.

A timeless heritage

The two pink diamonds presented today are not simply beautiful jewels. They are the symbol of a heritage, a know-how and a passion that transcend time.

To own a Graff piece is to enter into a legend, it is to carry a fragment of eternity. These diamonds are not mere adornments, but witnesses of precious moments, messengers of love and pure emotions.

As the world of fine jewelry continues to evolve, one thing is certain: Graff's pink diamonds will continue to shine far beyond our time, capturing hearts and illuminating souls for generations to come.

What if the ultimate dream could be summed up in a single spark... That of a pink diamond signed Graff?
