I love wine! Does this come as a surprise?

From my weekend in Porto to the release of the Beaujolais Nouveau, all the circumstances were reunited for the subject to become inevitable...

Especially after my beautiful meeting with a talented designer

I didn't go to Porto for gems or jewelry, but actually it was on a whim! (We usually go to London on a whim - but you can change sometimes... and it feels good!)

Porto, especially on a whim, is worth it!

Apart from the chestnuts in Saint- Martin that smoke up the buildings and spoil a bit the photos, I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised to discover this charming city lodged amidst river and sea.

The weekend was much more gastronomic than touristy, but we had to take advantage of it! In this beautiful city, wine is the drink of predilection! From Vinho Verde to Porto … and we eat well! So why deprive ourselves?

I highly recommend that you pay a visit to our friend Jean-Philippe Duhard who runs a Port temple, or rather a House of Ports; VINOLOGIA, and who will be happy to show you all the subtleties. Don't forget to dine at Pedro Lemos and enjoy the seaside terrace of the Shis restaurant

After Porto, nice encounter with an amateur of Vinho Verde and creator by profession, who juggles and plays colors with delight to always offer us colorful and tangy collections...

Chrysoberyl Ring with Color Gem Stones – 9900 €

Isabelle Langlois has created a delightful scenography around an evening get together for her new collection "Vin et Gemme" (Wine & Gems), to awaken our senses and taste... One can only confirm that I truly love wine!

Earrings Amethyst, Emerald, Diamond and Pink Sapphire – 2725 €

Even if wine and gemstones do not initially seem to have much in common, the color and radiance come together perfectly and offer an invitation for the senses to travel...

Ring Amethyst, Emerald, and Pink Sapphire – 3440 €

Citrine, Amethyst, Heliodor, Rhodolite, Garnet, Sapphire, Spinel, Tourmaline and many others… This swirl of color brings flavor and delight to the eyes.

Ring Citrine, Amethyst, Diamond – 3600 €

Citrine with its honey yellow color seeks to compete in beauty with the Heliodorus (sun yellow color), from the Beryl family (as emeralds and morganite). Rhodolite, a variety of pyrope garnet that ranges from pink to red, reveals its splendor without being able to match spinel (confused for centuries with ruby), which is undoubtedly my favorite stone with pink sapphire of course!

Ring Rhodolite and Color Gemstones – 9500 €

Isabelle selects the gems used for their high quality, we feel behind this designer her love and knowledge for gems... As a gemologist and from a notorious gem dealing family originating from the Jura, she has spent her childhood playing with gemstones and today assembles them in a visual explosion of harmonious and luminous colors to match with our favorite wine... of course!

Ring Citrine, Lemon Quartz and Peridot – 2250 €

A beautiful citrine that goes well with a Jura wine or invites us to open a bottle of champagne it sparkles so much!

Ring Citrine and Yellow Sapphire – 3675 €

We can feel in Isabelle's work a real love for gemstones.

Wine is as beautiful as it is delectable, but its pleasure? Fleeting...

Gemstones are eternal so let's change and vary to match our rings and raise a toast...
