We love the use of colored stones comparable to an explosion of joy that inevitably puts us in a good mood.
Inspired by the baroque icons interspersed in the city of Rome, this collection shines and plays with light, making us long for holidays and for Italy.
Identifiable at first glance and awfully modern, these jewelry pieces come out of the workshops of the firm which has been established over 130 years ago. It is Bvlgari’s Creative Director Lucia Silvestri who sources all these magnificent stones around the world to achieve an exceptional result.
Indeed, there is poetry and magic in Bvlgari’s collections, and especially in this unique Barocko collection which brings out the beauty of gemstones.
We particularly like the Wings of Rome necklace. It is quite iconic and perfectly balanced with its pear-cut diamond and diamonds of all sizes, inspired by the Sant’Angelo bridge in Rome on which ten angel sculptures are displayed. Its beauty and suppleness make it very easy to wear.
We love the collection’s main piece, the Lady Arabesque necklace which perfectly illustrates the ultramodern mix between baroque design with volutes, the bib necklace dear to Bvlgari and the bold research and juxtaposition of gems with these natural pink sapphires, combined with Paraiba tourmalines whose rarity also makes them true beauties.
Lastly, we fell in love with the Green Dream necklace, a classic and timeless necklace set with 5 exceptional emeralds from Colombia, with a total weight of 128 carats, arranged on a complex, bold and three-dimensional diamond and emerald background to reveal the beauty of emeralds.
