Profiles

A beautiful find at the Première Classe show in March – I fell in love with the dreamlike and poetic world of RueBelle, inspired by Hawaii’s lush greenery…

RueBelle was born in 2002 from the meeting between Bella Rosa Resta (designer) and Rudy Castorina (multimedia designer), who were inspired by their environment to create a series of collections.

Ethereal finesse and delicacy – RueBelle’s creations are summery and perfect to act like a mermaid on the beach…

RueBelle’s new collection is turquoise

An opportunity for me to tell you about this ornamental stone, which was already used in the 4th millennium BC by the Egyptians, who exploited it in the mines of Sinai. The name “Turquoise” did not appear until the early 13th century and referred to a blue stone coming from Turkey. Although Turkey is not a producer of turquoise, it serves as a platform for the turquoise trade between Iran, the home country, and the West, the consumer.

This stone has several representations. For Tibetan Buddhists, turquoise represents both material and spiritual wealth when combined with red coral. For Muslims, it represents spiritual power. This stone has protective properties – it has been used by many cultures as an amulet for thousands of years.

Allegedly, this mineral protects against aggression and has many virtues: comfort of the mind, confidence, loyalty and well-being…

According to lithotherapy, it is considered to be purifying as it dissipates negative energy and eliminates electromagnetic fog. It protects against negative and polluting environments. It absorbs its owner’s negative energy, until it loses its color or even deteriorates…

Perfect timing! Turquoise is trendy this summer!

I must say I am also completely in love with these earrings with asymmetrical flowers that give off a Vahine vibe – very feminine and sensual…
